VisitBritain is the national tourist office marketing England, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands to Americans through targeted marketing campaigns and providing information to visitors in the US.

Traveling to Britain
Americans traveling to Britain have a choice of international airports: London Heathrow Airport, London Gatwick Airport, Bristol International Airport, Birmingham International Airport, Manchester Airport, Glasgow International Airport and Edinburgh Airport. And once in Britain an extensive road and rail network allows quick travel from one region to another. For example, traveling from London to Edinburgh in Scotland takes less than four-and-a-half hours by train; and London to Cardiff in Wales is just two hours.

Visitor information
The official British tourism website – www.visitbritain.us – offers visitors a wealth of ideas and information for planning a trip, including a travel planner for developing an itinerary to print out or share with friends and family, destination guides and specially-themed vacation suggestions.

A walk-in travel center and travel shop offers visitors the opportunity to collect brochures and plan their Britain vacations at 551 Fifth Avenue (at 45th Street), New York.
