Accommodations

When it comes to where to stay, the UK covers the waterfront, from chi-chi little boutique hotels with a culture all their own to country piles for lost weekends of antique beds and picturesque hikes to international big name luxury, where you know what you’re getting in advance.

Radisson Edwardian Manchester Hotel (www.visitmanchester.com/Parts1.aspx?ExperienceId=&PartId=489)

The five star Radisson Edwardian Manchester Hotel is housed in one of Manchester's key historic buildings, the Free Trade Hall. As new meets old, this beautiful hotel offers stylish spaces which create a mood of understated luxury, less than five minutes walk from the Gay Village. Take time to chill with a pampering full body massage or facial or relaxing time in the pool at the fabulous Sienna Spa.

Soho Hotel (www.firmdale.com)

A favourite with gays and celebrities (and gay celebrities) alike, the ideally located Soho Hotel has been called "The most glamorous hotel in the world" by Tatler Travel Guide, and we're not arguing. Eccentric, colourful, fully kitted out and with one of the liveliest bars in town.

Brunswick (www.brunswickhotel.co.uk)

Smack bang in the middle of the gay Merchant City area (with swishy fashion store Cruise on the corner) the Brunswick is a real find. Trendy but somehow basic, friendly and not bad for price, it's a real gay favourite and even Kylie has stayed in the awesome 'sauna included' penthouse.
St Davids Hotel, Wales Cardiff (www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=47766605107)
St. David's Hotel and Spa (www.hotelclub.net/hotel.reservations/The_St_Davids_Hotel__Spa_Cardiff.htm)

Beautifully located on the waterfront and yet still really handy for the centre of town, St. David's is almost like a totem for what has happened to Cardiff recently. It's modern, glamorous, spacious, filled with light and kitted out to an international standard with every amenity you could wish for.
